againstOn Saturday October 11th a number of transition year students witnessed Ireland's wonderful 7-0 victory over Gibraltar. The group even managed to start a Mexican Wave that travelled throughout the stadium five times.

Gaelic Football Blitz

footballNineteen students made their GAA debut for the Colaiste in a blitz held in Meath GAA - Centre of Sporting Excellence, Dunganny, Co. Meath on 22/10/14. The blitz had a focus on game time and skill development for the players as opposed to results. The first match was against St. Mary's Drogheda and featured some excellent performances from a number of players including Sean Paul Maloney, Cillian Murphy and Stephen Breen (who captained the side). The second game against Nobber was an open affair with both teams going forward at will. Both Ferdia Quigley and Harry Svejdar distinguished themselves here.

Music Extravaganza

talentColáiste na hInse held its annual Music Extravanganza on Wednesday, October 15th. As ever, there was a remarkably high level of talent to be heard, with students across every year group taking part in hope of securing the coveted winning prize. Eoin Brereton Hurley won out with his virtuoso piano performance in front of guest judges Billy McGuinness and Elma McMahon.

Business Quiz

quizCongratulations to the two Business teams from Third Year who represented the Coláiste at the Business Quiz in Tallaght on Wednesday, October 22nd. In a tough competition, the teams finished a creditable 10th and 18th overall. Well done to all dáltaí and Inion McGovern.
